Dodge County Sheriff Lynn Sheffield reminds drivers to use caution when traveling through school zones. Patrol and school resource officers are directing traffic in these zones. These officers are there to protect the lives of the children attending these schools and to help drivers with traffic flow. Please be aware that these officers can be in the roadway at times doing their duty. Signs are posted throughout school zones stating speed and times that speed is reduced. Citations for violators can and will be issued to drivers who fail to obey these laws.
