Good move by Dr. Rand Paul to filibuster the CIA appointment. Rand’s parents, Carol and Dr. Ron, raised him well.
“By keeping the filibuster going through prime time, Rand Paul forced ABC, CBS and NBC - chief sources of news for low information voters - to cover the issue.”

Erick Erickson says, “You can thank Jim DeMint for Rand Paul’s filibuster.” He’s right. Jim DeMint was instrumental in getting Rand Paul elected. Jim created the Senate Conservatives Fund (SenateConservatives.com).
“Had Jim DeMint not created the Senate Conservatives Fund, we’d have David Dewhurst, Charlie Crist, Arlen Specter, Trey Grayson and Bob Bennett in the United States Senate still.
And who knows, if we fund the SCF enough, maybe just maybe they’ll deliver a junior senator to Kentucky to stand with Rand instead of someone at home watching Ashley Judd films.”

Bad information leads to having crummy politicians in charge. We deserve better.
It’s hard to score when you’re always playing defense. Rand Paul advanced the ball, while Grahamnesty McPain, the two-headed monster, became offended. “The Democrats attack and we spend all our time explaining that we’re not horrible people.”
John Hawkins on RightWingNews.com
“Senators McCain and Graham are probably upset that because people were more excited about the conservative filibuster on Wednesday night than their dinner with President Obama, but that’s no reason for them to lose their cool.”

More than $9 billion in earthquake relief to Haiti: $9 billion is more than $24,657,534 per day, every day for one year. Not only that, it’s all illegal spending and not authorized by the Constitution. Governments and foundations around the world sent that much and more.
Haiti’s President Michael Martelly says only a fraction of the aid money made it and some 350,000 people still live in camps, mostly in tents.
Dr. Ron Paul’s toll-free message number is 1-888-322-1414. I’ll bet he’s glad he retired from Congress. Remember, he draws no federal pension, having dropped out of the retirement program a few years back, signing away his pension rights. He actually meant it when he said he was the taxpayers’ best friend. He also never voted for a penny of foreign aid for any country. All members of Congress should be so intelligent and dedicated to the Constitution. I believe he should’ve taken the pension, though. He is one of the few who deserves it.
There should be no debate over Harry Truman’s creation foreign aid. It’s unconstitutional, all illegal spending, no matter how many Republicans stupidly vote for it, and most do. Shut it down now.

Liberals claim spending is no problem when they are in charge. They say we have “a misallocation of wealth.” In other words, government isn’t taking enough money from you, also is spending on the wrong things.
“The rich guy may have more money, but he is no better than anyone else in any fundamental sense.”

If Jeb Bush is sharp, why couldn’t he deliver Florida for Mitt Romney?
Odd, isn’t it - Obama wants you disarmed while he releases criminal illegal aliens. It’s a “mass budget pardon,” says Arizona Sheriff Paul Babeu.
