Here is where Trump wins again: 2/3 of white men voted for him in 2016 and he should do as well or better this time. Michael Moore (remember him?) laments “These are not good people. You should be afraid of them.”
Going into the year 2000 all Trump federal judge appointments are 50 or younger and have life terms, of course.
For $25 any New Yorker can go online and become an official wedding officiant.
Of course they can, and always have, too: “Libertarian Party shills for Mass Migration, shocking no one.”
BigLeaguePolitics.com 12-26-19 writer Jose Nino
That’s one more reason why they’re the losertarians, going nowhere…mm
Mark Steyn (SteynOnline.com) says in a Christmas 2019 video Trump was cut back: no conflict between maximizing profit and maximizing left-wing politics (some Trump footage was cut to make more room for commercials in Canada).
Very rich guy Michael Bloomberg used cheapo prison labor in Oklahoma to make phone calls for his presidential campaign. It would be funny for recipients (callees?) to attempt to arrange a meet up with their callers.
John Kerry, a few elections, back resorted to using phone callers from Ontario, Canada to get out the U.S. vote for his presidential campaign, which seemed odd.
A Chicago Tribune writer claimed in a December 2019 soft sell that Joe Biden was a “moderate, centrist candidate” voters can be comfortable with, unlike competitors Warren, Sanders and the more “progressive, leftist” Democrats running. “A seasoned, ,” centrist candidacy Biden offers,” claims the puff column. All Democrat candidates seemed ultraliberal, no moderation anywhere. Early on, one so-called “poll” showed every Democrat running, all 22 of them, to be polling ahead of Trump.
Some buzzwords to dump from overuse: curate, crushing it, synergy, reach out, move the needle, hit the ground running, student athletes: why not tell it as it is – call them ballplayers. Get ready for a lot of athleticism, physicality, and he can make the big play. Tall guys are said to have “length” these days. What’s wrong with tall? A guy gains 120 yards in a game and the announcer intones “He ran for a buck twenty.”

Homecoming date changes
Annual week long homecoming activities ending with the football game, which were scheduled for October 23, and senior night, which was November 20, have been changed.
According to Dodge County High School (DCHS) Principal Pam Melvin, “Due to the Governor’s order mandating no large crowd gatherings of 50 or more people and the increase in the number of COVID cases in Dodge County, Eastman City Council has not approved any public events.
This means that the DCHS Homecoming Parade 2020 would not be allowed at this time. Based on this information, the homecoming committee decided to change the date for homecoming 2020 to November 20, 2020. We are hoping that by this later date the Governor’s order will be lifted and/or there is a decrease in COVID cases in Dodge County, which would allow the Eastman City Council to approve public events.”
DCHS seniors will be recognized on October 23.
Homecoming activities will begin on Monday, November 16 and end Friday night November 20 with the Indians going up against Southeast Macon.
The annual homecoming parade, scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on November 20 is pending city and department of transportation approval.

FOOTBALL GAMES CANCELLED
BY JOEY MARCHANT
Dodge County High School has cancelled its football games with West Laurens, scheduled for September 18th, and Fitzgerald, scheduled for September 25th.
A Dublin High School football player tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday September 16th after playing against Dodge County five days earlier. On Friday morning, 24 Dodge County players were notified by Dodge County High School that they were quarantined for 14 days and would not be allowed to practice or attend in person classes.
The Dublin player allegedly felt symptoms on Friday, yet he played against Dodge that day. Therefore, contact tracing for 48 hours prior to and including Friday, September 11th resulted in the quarantine of the Dodge players who had played for at least 15 minutes against Dublin.
Therefore, with virtually the entire starting lineup quarantined, Dodge had no choice at that point but to cancel its next two games. This is a strange turn of events considering that no player on the Dodge, West Laurens or Fitzgerald teams has a known active case of COVID-19.
Dodge has a scheduled off week on October 2, visits Bleckley County on October 9 and has an off week on October 16. At this point, it is unclear if Dodge will try to schedule an opponent on either off week. However, Fitzgerald would appear out of the question as they moved to quickly schedule a date with Jefferson County in place of the Dodge game.
Dodge County High School Softball Coach Dr. Jennifer Belflower has rescheduled or cancelled some of the team’s games until October 5 due to some of the team’s players that have been exposed to the Coronavirus.

Russ’s Sports Review
By Russ Ragan
This week had a little bit of everything. The Braves continued to hit for the most part. Unfortunately they lost their big off-season pick up for the year.
The Falcons made more bad football history. We are less than five days away from the opening game and the Bulldogs still don’t have a starting quarterback.
The Braves are in the middle of their key four game series against the Marlins. The Braves are currently leading 5-3 in the seventh in Monday night’s game. A week would give them a four game lead with just six to play in the wild game 60 game sprint. The offense has been a huge part of it as MVP candidate Freddie Brewer has led a great offense but they got a huge win from an unlikely source. Kyle Wright, who has been mostly real bad, looked like John Smoltz for a day anyway as he pitched six shutouts innings with six strikeouts.
Wright’s role just got bigger as Cole Hanel’s year and time with the Braves is over. Monday, the team put him on the ten day injured list and said his season was done. It wasn’t a terrible idea to pick up the veteran, it just didn’t work out. At least it was just a one-year deal. It looks like a Fried, Anderson and Wright rotation for the playoffs.
440-0, that’s the record for NFL teams that scored 39 or more points and making no turnovers. The Falcons did those things Sunday and made that record 440-1. The birds did the impossible and lost a nine-point lead and lost to the Cowboys 40-39 in Dallas. Ridley and Matt Ryan had good games but honestly this team is the laughing stock of all sports, not just football. The Falcons just looked at an onside kick in the final two minutes and it set up the game winning points. Did the team know the onside kick rules? Obviously, they got the kick off and punt rules mixed up!
I honestly don’t know what Arthur Blank is waiting for, as Dan Quinn has to go and go now. The defensive guru can’t lead his teams to any big stops with the game on the line. With three minutes to play Sunday, they had a 99.9 percent chance to win, really! So never give up on the Falcons.
The Bulldogs kickoff Saturday and there is one tiny issue; they don’t know who will be the starting quarterback. Kirby Smart says he doesn’t know just yet but I don’t buy it. But we will all know Saturday against Arkansas. I am going against the odds and say D’wan Mathes will be QB against the Hogs! Remember, I said he would start, not necessarily finish.

Lady Indians have 1-1-1 week of play
By Russ Ragan
The Dodge County High School Lady Indians softball team stepped out of region play with three games. On Tuesday, Dodge defeated Northside, Warner Robins Thursday, Dodge returned to Houston County to play Westfield Academy out of Perry. The game was tied at 1-1 in the second when the rain came in and the game was rained out. Dodge returned home on Saturday to face a good West Laurens team. Dodge would lead early but the Lady Raiders came back to win 8-3.
The Northside game started out as a pitchers duel. Brooke Perdue started on the mound for Dodge. She rolled through the first two innings as she had a pair of strikeouts.
Dodge got things started in the third. Bailey Harvey would reach on an error and Ava Maxwell would be hit by a pitch. Jessica Joiner would make a nice bunt getting runners to second and third. Logan White drove in Harvey with a ground out for a 0-1 lead. Ava Roland singled home Maxwell and the lead reached 2-0.
Perdue had an easy third and then the bats came alive in the fourth. Dylana Barton would be hit by a pitch. Singles by Perdue and Gracie Lewis would load the bases with no outs. Harvey would single home Barton and Perdue for a 4-0 lead. Logan White would single home Lewis for a 5-0 lead.
Perdue would go through the fourth and fifth with ease. She struck out the side in the fifth. Perdue ran into some trouble in the sixth as she allowed a pair of unearned runs. The freshman would breeze through the seventh including her sixth strikeout of the game.
Dodge hosted West Laurens on a breezy Saturday morning. The Lady Raiders scored first on an unearned run for a 1-0 lead. Dodge would battle back in their half.
Dylana Barton led off with a double to left center. Jessica Joiner would single to left to score Barton to tie the game at 1-1. Dodge would take the lead as Brooke Perdue would triple to deep left center that scored Logan White and Makiyah Roberson for a 3-1 lead.
The Lady Raiders would use the long ball in a big way in this one. A pair of wind blown shots, it was blowing straight out. The Lady Raiders take a 5-3 lead. They hit a three run shot in the fourth to take an 8-3 lead and that would be the final.

Letter to the editor
Dear editor,
Do we really want to play football this year? Very late Thursday afternoon my wife got a phone call informing her that my son was being quarantined for 14 days because he was in close proximity (defined as less than 6 feet) for more than 15 minutes with a student who tested positive for COVID-19. We later learned from other parents that this affected one other player on the football team and one cheerleader among other students. My son was already concerned about being quarantined before classes started. However, he believed that if he wore his mask all of the time, he would not be quarantined due to another student having been infected. So he wore it. All students did. It is a school rule and a good one. I was told later that the desks were almost six feet apart, but not quite, at least not on the day they were measured, a few days after the infected student last came to school. In one classroom, there were shower curtains between the desks. And how did the school nurse determine who was to be quarantined? She looked at a seating chart turned in by the teacher on the first day of school. Were the students in their assigned seats on the day in question? Maybe some were. Maybe some were not. They never bothered to ask the students or parents before making a decision. There was no opportunity to be heard whatsoever. Then they hid behind the South Central Health District. “This is not us; it is the health department doing this,” I was told. No it is not. It is the Dodge County School System. They may be applying rules promulgated by public health officials and calling public health officials for advice. However, at the end of the day, it is the school nurse and administration using authority granted to them by the board of education making the call.
I pride myself on trying to stay out of school affairs and letting my children fight their own battles and work out their issues with teachers and coaches. However, after consoling my son and trying to encourage him, I went to work drafting a lawsuit. I found a judge Friday morning, and he scheduled an emergency hearing for 1:00 pm. I was only seeking an opportunity to be heard on whether or not the players and cheerleader should be quarantined, an opportunity they never received from their school. About one hour before the hearing, I was notified that an additional 22 players were being quarantined due to a Dublin player testing positive. This rendered my hearing over two players virtually moot, so I withdrew my request for a hearing. The Dublin player tested positive on Wednesday following our game on Friday. Allegedly, the Dublin player felt symptoms on Friday, the day of our game. Yet he played in the game. Due to privacy issues, the name of the Dublin player has not been released. Therefore, due to contact tracing, our 24 players who played at least 15 minutes in the Dublin game were quarantined for 14 days dating back to Friday’s game. Never mind the fact that our players have been in school for a whole week with other students, with each other at practice, and with the other 32 players on the team who are not being quarantined. What about the siblings of the 24 who are still in school? What about their family members who they have had contact with for seven days? There is an advertisement that I saw recently depicting a man standing on a beach trying to mop up an ocean. That is what we are doing here.
Coronavirus is real people. It is killing some people and making some people very sick. Fortunately, children tend to experience much lighter symptoms. It is also everywhere, and we cannot avoid it. We mandate hand washing, mask wearing and social distancing for a reason. These are supposed to be effective means to limit the spread. Nothing is one hundred percent effective. I am not saying that quarantining is never necessary. However, retroactive quarantining seven days after the fact defies logic. We have thrown out common sense in favor of a rigid set of written rules that are in and of themselves arbitrary like six feet and 15 minutes.
It has already been said that I care more about football than I do about education. That is not true. However, I believe both are important and do not have to be mutually exclusive. My son will be fine either way. The Lord has blessed him with a good mind and much more motivation than I had at his age. He will be attending college on an academic scholarship. My wife and I will be able to make up the additional money he will need. Everyone is not so fortunate. For some of our students, athletic scholarships are the way they will make it out of Dodge. A few have enough on film already to make that happen. However, others still need to show more in a short period of time. The extension of the NCAA dead period in recruiting doesn’t help them.
We have great faculty, staff and administration in our school system. They are dealing with things we never imagined possible. It is not fair for me to judge them, but I also cannot remain silent when there has to be a better way.
The GHSA, under the leadership of Dr. Robin Hines, did a wonderful thing by providing us an opportunity across the state to play and watch the great sport of football. We started the thing knowing that it would be a difficult process filled with starts, stops and restarts. The GHSA provided as much flexibility as possible for teams to juggle their schedules. Some things are beyond human control. There will be very few schools, if any, who manage to get in 10 regular season games. But for the most part, the schools that maximize this opportunity will be those who come up with a common sense approach to quarantining. There is just no way in which Dodge County will make it through the football season with the methods we are using. We cancelled football games with West Laurens and Fitzgerald where not a single player on either team had a positive test. Let that sink in. Put very bluntly, there are those who look for creative yet safe ways to play. There are others who look for ways not to play. I still hope and believe that Dodge County falls into the first category.

Believe in America
Believe in America, not the media.
“In today’s America, there’s something of an industry in finding old things to be offended by and drawing attention to them on social media.”
Paul Kersey on Unz.com 2-1-19
“Democrats are delusional socialists and are wrong for America.”
Erin Perrine
Remember Congressman Jim Clyburn (Demoleft – South Carolina)? He saved Joe Biden’s sagging campaign with a shot in the arm in South Carolina. He got out the vote there, sending Basement Joe to the nomination and the basement. Maybe Clyburn did us a favor. Biden could be a weaker candidate than McCain or Romney. The liberal press hyped those two losers as Republicans who could “win in November.”
“Jim Clyburn is a dinosaur. He needs to retire yesterday!”
Leo Terrell 8-7-20
California attorney – civil rights activist Leo Terrell has impressed me lately – I was surprised to see him come out for Trump. Good for Leo. He’s proud to wear a Trump hat. Check him out on Fox Network.
Talk about a flawed candidate – Hidin’ Biden is unraveling before our eyes.
Maybe these fellows put Trump over the top early on: “We don’t need another politician. We need a businessman like Mr. Trump! TRUMP 2016.”
Dennis Rodman, retired basketball star
Dennis has it right this time. And, as rocker Kid Rock said in 2016: “Let the business guy run the country like a business.”
Another celebrity Trump man who said in 2015: “He’s a great guy. He’s sharp. He’s fast. He can change the country after the last eight years.”
Actor Gary Busey

Fans at the 2019 World Series in D.C. booed President Trump when he was introduced. This is good. It shows you what type of fan now attends the World Series and solidifies Trump’s support in the real America.
Series fans are monied leftists generally – no working class folks in attendance these days, priced out of the market.
Richard Nixon figured out the Brett Kavanaugh Supreme Court hearings ambush long before it happened by observing the Clarence Thomas circus. “The hearings themselves have become a scandal”, said President Nixon in 1991 on the Clarence Thomas hearings and phony allegations.

Football games cancelled
Their revised schedule can be found on Page 7.
